To redesign and rebrand the Welsh Princes Gate Spring Water brand to bring it up to date and improve market position. The brief was to present an ecology-conscious, natural, young and funky brand image that stood apart from their competitors and to not make the brand too Welsh!! Obviously one of the first kraaft ideas was to make the brand as Welsh as possible - see extra images - complete with leeks, sheep and copious rain. The client could see we were prepared to go to the edge. We identified that the brand image had to be pure and honest and non-artificial. The final logo was a simple potato print - colours were deliberately muted and printed on matt stock - and the copy personality was honest to the point of stating the obvious - we love rain! Please note, this was pre-Robinsons!
