Kraaft Raises €13M Series A to Scale Its “Super App” for Construction

Paris, France – January 22, 2025 — Kraaft, the company building the first super app for construction, has raised a €13 million Series A funding round led by Dawn Capital, Europe’s leading specialist B2B software investor. The round also includes participation from Brick & Mortar Ventures, Chalfen Ventures, Stride VC, and OSS Ventures.

Already adopted by 1,000+ companies across 230,000 job sites, Kraaft has quickly become the go-to communication and project management platform for field crews, replacing WhatsApp and other generic tools across Europe’s largest construction firms, including VINCI and Bouygues.

Transforming an Industry That’s Been Left Behind

Construction remains one of the world’s largest and least-digitized industries — a $13 trillion sector where productivity has stagnated for over two decades. Unlike other industries, construction companies invest just 1–2% of revenue in IT, compared to 3–5% elsewhere.

Frontline workers, who represent the majority of the workforce, often lack access to specialized tools that are easy to adopt. That’s where Kraaft stands out: its mobile-first, WhatsApp-style interface makes it simple for any crew member to collaborate, share photos, manage tasks, and stay aligned — with no training required.

“Our rapid growth shows the appetite for tools that bridge the gap between field and office,” said Thomas Reygagne, Co-Founder and CEO at Kraaft. “Construction has been left behind by tech innovation for too long. With this funding, we’re set to redefine how teams collaborate globally — improving both productivity and working lives.”

A Platform Built for the Field

Founded in Paris in 2020 by Marc Nègre (CPO), Cédric Boidin (CTO), and Thomas Reygagne (CEO), Kraaft’s platform combines real-time group conversations with AI-powered tools for planning, photo geolocation, reporting, and safety checks.

Kraaft’s intuitive interface has helped customers deliver measurable results, including a 15% improvement in managing change orders, thanks to better communication and traceability.

Originally launched to streamline communication in factories, Kraaft quickly gained traction in the construction sector during the COVID-19 pandemic, when site teams began adopting it organically to manage daily operations. The team soon pivoted to focus exclusively on construction — and growth has skyrocketed ever since.

Backed by Leading Construction and B2B Software Investors

“Messaging is eating the world, and Kraaft is proving its value in one of the toughest industries to digitize,” said Marc Nègre, Co-Founder and CPO. “When foremen tell us Kraaft is the easiest app on the App Store, we know we’re on the right track.”

“Despite giant machines and space-age materials, construction is powered by people,” said Norman Fiore, Co-Founder and General Partner at Dawn Capital. “Kraaft is improving those working lives by making collaboration seamless for every worker, from site to office.”

“Kraaft replaces outdated tools with an intuitive, purpose-built platform that boosts collaboration and project margins,” added Guillaume Bazouin, Partner at Brick & Mortar Ventures.

What’s Next for 2025

With this funding, Kraaft will accelerate product development and international expansion, focusing on key markets such as the UK, Germany, and the U.S.

Upcoming features include:

  • Planning and Timesheets – Simplifying project management for mobile teams
  • API and Integrations – Connecting seamlessly with platforms like Procore
  • AI-Driven Automation – Enhancing productivity with intelligent workflows

Trusted by 1,000+ Construction Companies

Kraaft is now available in five languages — English, Spanish, German, Italian, and French — and facilitates over 1 million messages per month across Europe. The platform is used daily by both enterprise clients and small subcontractors, with a free plan available for smaller teams looking to streamline field communication.

“We needed a solution that would be simple for our field teams while versatile enough for our diverse operations,” said Julien Villalongue, Director of Leonard, VINCI Group’s foresight and innovation platform. “Kraaft’s adaptability has received outstanding feedback from even the least tech-savvy users.”
